Decatur police seek public's help locating missing woman

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The Decatur Police Department is asking for the public's assistance in locating a missing woman.

On Wednesday, Decatur PD posted on social media in search of Shavonne C. Anthony, a 40-year-old woman who was last seen on September 20 at the Water Street Mission, located at 758 N. Water St.

Police report that Anthony is 5 feet 1 inch tall and weighs 195 pounds.

Decatur police told WAND news that Anthony has a medical condition, which she seemed to be managing until the time she was last seen. They emphasized that she has been missing for an unusually long period without any contact with her family.

If anyone has information regarding Anthony's whereabouts, they are urged to call the Decatur Police Department at 217-424-2711 or Detective Donaker at 217-542-34.61.
