CHARLESTON, Ill. (WAND) - Eastern Illinois University (EIU) will pay tribute to those who have served in the U.S. Armed Forces during its annual Veterans Day Ceremony on Tuesday, November 11, from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m.
The event will take place in the Cougill Foyer of Old Main and will include a brief ceremony followed by light refreshments.
University officials say the ceremony honors not only veterans but also their families and the broader EIU community members who have served.
EIU continues to emphasize its commitment to being a military- and veteran-friendly institution, providing ongoing support through its ROTC program and the Military Student Assistance Center.
