DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) – TCCI Manufacturing in Decatur opened its Clean Energy Workforce Academy in its 22nd Street location. The first day of classes was Thursday.
Richland Community College students can get a full education and training experience in classrooms located in the manufacturing facility.
TCCI produces electric compressors for electric and hybrid vehicles.
Richland students will be immersed in the industry alongside TCCI professionals.
The program equips students with the technical skills and real-world experience needed to fill Illinois’ growing clean energy and industrial workforce.
