Egg my Yard! Donations being accepted in time for Easter and Prom

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - St. Teresa's High School is preparing for their annual "Egg My Yard" event! All funds raised from this event will go directly towards the Post Prom.

Colleen Johnson, a teacher at Parsons Elementary School and a mother organizing the event, stated that this initiative is a great way for the junior class to collaborate while providing the senior class with a safe and responsible opportunity to hang out after prom.

"I think every parent wants the same thing: they want their kids to come home safe," said Johnson.

The event still needs plastic eggs and candy donations to ensure there are enough before the "egging" commences on Saturday, April 19th at 8:00 p.m.
