SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) -Â Two adults and two children have been displaced following a house fire in Springfield.
According to the Springfield Fire Department, crews responded to the fire in the 400 block of Adelia Street just before noon on Thursday.
When firefighters arrived at the scene, they encountered heavy flames.
The Springfield Fire Department reported that the home sustained significant fire damage both inside and outside.
As a result, the two adults and two children were displaced. Additionally, there were two minor injuries reported among the firefighters.
