DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The 2025 Farm Progress Show will return to Decatur in August and is expected to bring hundreds-of-thousands of visitors from across the globe.

The show will take place Aug. 26-28. It alternates sites with Boone, IA, and has been at the Decatur site near Richland Community College for 20 years.

"We're incredibly proud to celebrate two decades of agricultural innovation at our permanent Decatur site," said Matt Jungmann, senior national events director for Farm Progress. "What began with the excitement of paved streets has evolved into the premier showcase for cutting-edge agricultural technology and solutions. The 2025 show represents not just our history, but the future of farming."

The Farm Progress Show started in Armstrong, IL, in 1953.

The ag show is now one of the largest outdoor shows of its kind in the U.S. and brings farmers and ag industry businesses and experts together. The show often features new and emerging technologies, ag solutions, and products.

Show organizers said the 2025 version will include an interactive drone program to highlight precision aerial applications. It will also include exhibits about sustainable farming practices, UTV's, autonomous equipment, and smart sprayers.

The 2025 show will also include field demonstrations, live harvesting demonstrations, advancements in seed technology, crop protection, and ag equipment.

Daily admission is $25 at the show or $15 in advance through the Farm Progress Show website. The show runs 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. daily.

WAND News will broadcast from the show all three days, including live newscasts, weather forecasts, event schedules, things to do, and more.
