DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Two teens are in custody after one person was seriously injured in a shooting at Johns Hill Park Sunday evening.

Decatur police said officers were called just before 7 p.m. after receiving reports of shots fired in the park.

DPD told WAND News that the one person shot was taken to the hospital and is in serious condition, but is expected to be okay.

According to Decatur Police Chief Brad Allen, police believe this was an isolated shooting and appears to be a feud that escalated and ended in the park.

Allen confirmed that a 15-year-old and 17-year-old are in custody. Their identities will not be released to the public due to their ages.

The shooting remains under investigation.
