DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The Boys and Girls Club of Decatur is asking the community to invest and partner with it to continue supporting local kids.
The organization has a critical need of $750,000 this year and cannot provide quality after-school care without it.
Boys and Girls Club Board Chair Niki Fenderson said so many families depend on its services.
"We try to bring in a lot of different activities to help our students experience so much more than they would get to regularly," Fenderson said.Â
Additionally, the organization needs volunteers to support its services offered.
