DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND) — Carle Health is rolling two mobile units into Danville next week, giving residents the opportunity to learn more about mobile care options.Â
Visitors can tour the 40-foot Carle Mobile Health Clinic and shop on board the Carle Mobile Market from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. outside Carle at The Riverfront on October 31. There will also be free Halloween treats available.
The mobile health clinic has two fully equipped exam rooms and is wheelchair accessible. It offers full care services including physicals, vaccinations, wellness exams and STD screening and treatment.
Social services are also on board, and referrals and consults to connect with specialty care services are available.
"By removing complicated barriers, we've been bringing high-quality care and supportive services out into the community directly where people live, work and play," said Carle Mobile Health Services manager Kelly Parker.
The calendar of mobile clinic stops is available on the Carle website.
The event will also feature Carle's Mobile Market on wheels. It provides low-cost fresh, frozen and chilled foods. The calendar of stops for the mobile market is also available on the Carle website.
