CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - The City of Champaign has a new deal for an ambulance service.
Champaign City Council unanimously voted Tuesday night to approve an exclusive franchise agreement with Arrow Ambulance.
The five-year deal will require Arrow to have four ambulances available at any time in the city, with at least four EMTs on each one.
The Champaign Fire Chief will review Arrow staff who work with city staff.
Arrow will pay a $100,000 franchise fee to the city.
