CHARLESTON, Ill. (WAND) — The city of Charleston is providing free food, drinks and water to residents impacted by severe storms that hit the area Wednesday.
The city said food and refreshments will be available for free at the Doudna Fine Arts Center on the Eastern Illinois University campus.
The distribution will start at 12 p.m. The city said residents should follow the designated traffic route for the safety of all attendees and to help manage traffic.
The city also said anyone that wants to help those impacted by the storms can drop off food items only at the center.
