HSHS St. Mary's announces launch of new Parkinson's support group

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - HSHS St. Mary's Hospital in Decatur announced the launch of a new Parkinson's Disease support group.

The support group will meet at 2 p.m. on the second Wednesday of every month in the HSHS Medical Group Multispecialty Care building.

HSHS said the group will provide a welcoming and inclusive space where people can connect with others who have shared similar experiences.

Attendees will also learn strategies for managing daily life with Parkinson's, engage with therapy staff and listen to guest speakers.

The support group is free to attend, and no registration is required.
