JACKSONVILLE, Ill. (WAND) — The Jacksonville Police Department is investigating after a home was shot at on Saturday.

Police initially responded to reports of gunshots in the 300 block of West Beecher Avenue around 4 a.m. After investigating, officers could not find evidence of a shooting and said the complaint was unfounded.

Later that day, police responded to the same block just after 8 p.m. after a separate complaint that a home was hit by gunfire. Officers believe the reports were from the same incident.

Police said nobody was hurt and they are still investigating.
