(WAND) - A central Illinois community is mourning the loss of a teenager who died at an upstate ski resort.Â
The Jo Daviess County Coroner said that 17-year-old Jack Zucco of Rochester drowned on Friday at the Chestnut Mountain Resort in Galena.Â
The Coroner's Office stated that county deputies and Galena police arrived at the resort to find that Zucco had lost consciousness while swimming in a pool.Â
He had been taken out of the pool before first responders arrived. Life-saving measures were performed, but Zucco was later pronounced dead on the scene.
Officials stated there is no evidence of criminal activity, and his death is still under investigation.Â
Rochester High School Wrestling posted on Facebook that Zucco's visitation will be from 1-5 p.m. Friday. Feb. 20, at the United Methodist Church on Walnut Street in Rochester.Â
Additionally, his funeral mass will be at noon Saturday, Feb. 21, at St. Jude's Catholic Church on Walnut Street in Rochester.Â
