SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - Springfield residents can attend a public hearing regarding a proposed data center project in Sangamon County.
The Sangamon County Board Office will hold a public hearing at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 3, at the Bank of Springfield Center in Downtown Springfield.
The hearing will give community members a chance to listen to presentations for and against the proposed data center and also share their thoughts on the project.
This will be one of several opportunities for the community to learn about the center and provide input. A full list of presenters will be made available before the hearing.
Those interested in speaking at the hearing can sign up early online.
