CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - Champaign has some homework to do, as new Unit 4 Superintendent Geovanny Ponce wants to hear from the community.Â
The district will hold a series of "Listen and Learn" sessions, which will begin Saturday.Â
According to Unit 4, Ponce will visit different Champaign schools and offices for the sessions, as part of his plan to listen to people who know the city and community best.Â
The "Listen and Learn Tour" will take place on the following dates:
- Saturday at 1 p.m., RISE Center at Columbia
- Tuesday, Aug. 25 at 5:30 p.m., Stratton Academy
- Monday, Aug. 31 at 5:30 p.m., Centennial High School
- Tuesday, Sept. 1 at 5:30 p.m., Edison Middle School
- Friday, Sept. 4 at 1 p.m., Champaign Public Library
- Wednesday, Sept. 9 at 5:30 p.m., International Prep Academy
- Saturday, Sept. 12 at 10 a.m., Central High School
- Thursday, Sept. 17 at 5:30 p.m., Dr. Howard Elementary
