SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) — This week, two men were found guilty for their parts in a triple homicide in Springfield.

Larry McClain Jr. and Kelton C. Galmore were on trial for the murder of three people in 2021.

Three victims were discovered in August 2021 at a home in the 2500 block of S. 10th St. They were 27-year-old Bryant K. Williams, of Houston, Texas, 27-year-old Savante English of Springfield, and 25-year-old Keyera Gant of Springfield.

In February 2022, Galmore and Joseph W. Hembrough were arrested and charged with first-degree murder. McClain was arrested and charged the next month.

Earlier this month, Hembrough pleaded guilty to first-degree murder as part of a plea deal. He was sentenced to 20 years in prison, to be served at 100% and given credit for 931 days served while awaiting trial.

On the eighth day of trial, McClain and Galmore were both found guilty for the first-degree murder of all three victims. They were also found guilty of armed violence, a class X felony.

The two will be sentenced in December.
