DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The National Weather Service in Lincoln has confirmed 14 tornadoes hit central Illinois during severe weather on June 18. 

The most significant storm damage was in Jacksonville that caused damage to a youth sports complex. Most areas saw downed trees and snapped power poles. A few farm and country homes had roof and siding damage. Several crops were also flattened in some areas. 

NWS reported that none of the storms resulted in any injuries or deaths. 

Below is a list of the confirmed tornadoes with information provided by NWS Lincoln. 

NORTHWEST JACKSONVILLE

The National Weather service said this EF-1 tornado had 100 mile per hour winds and was 75 miles wide. This tornado damaged the Future Champions Sports Complex in Jacksonville. 

The tornado was on the ground for just under four miles and lasted eight minutes. It first touched down east of Highway 104 and south of Lafayette Ave. before lifting near Zimmer Road in a cornfield, according to NWS. In addition to damage at the sports complex, it also snapped trees and destroyed several small sheds. 

SOUTH JACKSONVILLE

An EF-0 tornado first touched down near U.S. 67 and Old Airport Road. NWS Lincoln said the tornado traveled across I-72 near exit 60 and lifted north of Diamond Grove Cemetery. Primary damage was to tree branches.

The tornado had winds of 80 miles per hour and was on the ground for just over 4 miles and six minutes. 

LYNNVILLE

An EF-1 tornado with 100 mile per hour winds snapped power poles along the Scott and Morgan county lines along Old Rt. 36. The storm, with a path 50 yards wide, also flattened corn and caused minor damage to a home. The length was less than a mile and it was on the ground for two minutes. 

LITERBERRY

The strongest of Wednesday's tornadoes was an EF-2 in Morgan County. NWS Lincoln said this tornado had peak winds of 125 miles per hour and was 300 yards wide. It was on the ground for 12 minutes starting to the northeast of the Jacksonville airport and lifting near the Morgan and Cass county lines. 

It was on the ground for nearly seven miles and caused damaged to large trees, power poles, and a home and farm on Sorrill Road. The tornado flattened corn and ripped a part a metal outbuilding. 

PLEASANT PLAINS

An EF-1 with winds of 100 miles per hour touched down four miles south of Pleasant Plains in Sangamon County, according to NWS Lincoln. The storm was on the ground for eight minutes and traveled more than ten miles before lifting in Menard County near Tallula.

NWS said the tornado snapped several large trees, toss two grain bins across Watts Road, and ripped shingles from a home along County Road 7. 

ASHLAND

An EF-0 tornado touched down in Cass County about two miles south of Ashland, according to the National Weather Service.

The tornado was on the ground for 7.4 miles and had peak winds of 80 miles per hour. A few trees were damaged, according to NWS, before it lifted near the Sangamon and Morgan county lines. 

PETERSBURG

110 mile per hours winds were recorded in an EF-1 tornado in Menard County. NWS Lincoln said the storm was 200 yards wide and on the ground for just over a mile. It started along Ed Hinrichs Road three miles northeast of Tallula before lifting three miles west of Petersburg. 

NWS said the tornado damaged trees, five grain bins, and yanked shingles off two houses along Newmansville Ave. NWS noted several damaged trees were healthy hardwoods, plus a row of 18 evergreen trees were knocked over. 

MASON CITY

In Mason County, an EF-0 tornado with 100 mile per hour winds touched down two miles northeast of Mason City in Mason County. The tornado knocked down trees and corn along County Road 1200 North. 

FARMER CITY

A 100-yard-wide EF-1 tornado was recorded in De Witt County about four miles northeast of Farmer City. NWS Lincoln said the tornado had 100 mile per hour winds and was on the ground for just over three miles. It started in a cornfield near Buckeye Road, flattening corn. An outbuilding was destroyed, as were several trees. NWS said roof damage was recorded along Depot Road. The tornado lifted in a field near Prairie Chapel Road. 

HOPEDALE

An EF-U (unknown) tornado was recorded in Tazewell County near Hopedale. NWS examined video to confirm the tornado but was not able to find any damage. The tornado was on the ground for 45 seconds and was approximately 50 yards wide. 

BELLFLOWER

An EF-U (unknown) was confirmed via video in McClean County just southwest of Bellflower. NWS Lincoln could not find damage. The storm was on the ground for a tenth of a mile and was approximately 30 yards wide. 

CLARKSVILLE (MO)

An EF-1 tornado started in Missouri and moved across the Illinois River before lifting just southeast of Clarksville, Missouri. It was on the ground for approximately 3.6 miles with winds of 104 miles per hour. 

NEWMANSVILLE

An EF-U (unknown) hit eastern Cass County near Carson Road south of Cox Creek, according to NWS. The storm was on the ground for just under two miles. It didn't cause any damage. 

GLASGOW

An EF-U (unknown) in Scott County was on the ground for one mile and caused damage to several crops when it dropped in the middle of a field north of Montezuma Road near County Road 600 East. NWS said the tornado was about ten yards wide.
