DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) – At a time when many people cannot afford health insurance or simply don’t have enough coverage, Crossing Healthcare in Decatur is the answer for thousands of Decatur residents.
Crossing takes anyone, regardless of their ability to pay. They will also take you without an appointment.
"We look back at 2025, we saw over 15,000 patients, over 60,000 visits," according to Julie Brilley, Crossing's CEO. "We see 300 patients a day."
Brilley is optimistic about the future of Crossing.Â
"So, we’re working on a three-year strategic plan. We’re working on our community health needs assessment. So we’re identifying some of the areas where our patients' needs just aren’t being met," Brilley told WAND News.
