SHELBYVILLE, Ill. (WAND) —  Twas four weeks before Christmas on No Bad Days Farm, and the town came in search for a perfect tree with charm!

"Hopefully we provide something neat for families to do and make memories, like we did when our three were little," shares Stephanie Schwengel, one of the owners of No Bad Days Farm.

No Bad Days Farm started back in 2019. The family created the farm in honor of their son, Tucker, who tragically passed away in a car accident. The family knew his love for Christmas was infectious, and wanted to spread that love in his honor, with the community around them.

"His motto was no bad days! So that's where no bad days came from. I mean, everybody loves Christmas, but he just really loved Christmas" shares his mom.

His joy for Christmas and love for giving to those around him is what the family-run farm hopes to spread through Christmas trees and wreaths.

With over 400 trees, one guest, Crosby Schultz, says "It takes a lot to find the perfect tree!"

Crosby and his mom say they have been coming every year to No Bad Days Farm to find their tree to decorate.

After a long afternoon of deciding which tree is your fir-ever tree, the farm hopes you cozy up by their fire and enjoy some hot chocolate or popcorn!

Stephanie shares, she hopes that guests walk away full of the Christmas spirit.

"It's something we all enjoy doing. And we still get to honor Tucker. It is a lot of hard work. But, we know the source of what we're doing and and why we're doing what we're doing."

And Tucker's sister Daley shares with me, this is all he would ever want to see!

"I always remember that. Tucker would just love to be here and work with us all."

The Christmas tree farm is open every weekend from morning to dusk, until they have no trees left! For more, visit their website by clicking here.
