UPDATE 3/19: 

Macon County Corner says, 18 year old Tamyus Jarrett and 21 year old Ramone Bass died at Decatur Memorial Hospital after getting shot in the 500 block of East Johnson Avenue Friday night.

The Corner says, an autopsy is being conducted Sunday at the McLean County Corner's Morgue in Bloomington.

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Decatur Police arrested a suspect in connection to a double homicide.

Decatur Police arrested Kahylil D. Woods, 23, in connection to a shooting that left 2 men dead. He was booked into the Macon County Jail on Saturday afternoon. 

Decatur Police said on Friday at 8:15 p.m. officers responded to a report of a shooting in the 500 Block of East Johnson Avenue. This is near N. Martin Luther King Junior Drive and E. Garfield Avenue. 

According to police there were two male victims.

Both men were taken to the hospital where they later died. 

On Saturday just after midnight, a WAND News crew saw crime scene tape and a crime scene unit at the scene. 

Woods' bond is set at $3 million. He is scheduled to appear in court on March 24.
