EFFINGHAM, Ill. (WAND)- A Teutopolis man was pronounced dead after a fatal motorcycle accident in Effingham.Â
According to the Effingham Police Department, around 12:24 p.m., on September 30, officers responded to an accident involving a motorcycle and car at the intersection of Keller Drive and Midtowne Boulevard.Â
Police identified the driver of the motorcycle as Dale T. Davis, 27, of Teutopolis, who was later pronounced dead.
The driver of the vehicle, Pyo J, Namkus, 37, of New Providence, New Jersey, was issued a citation for failure to yield.
Effingham Police and the Effingham County Coroner's Office are investigating the accident.
At this time, no further information has been released.
