DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) — The 2025 season for The Devon Lakeshore Amphitheater starts May 22. With just a few days left, staff at The Devon are crossing the last few things off their checklist.

Dustin Bradshaw, General Manager at The Devon, said that its been a lot of hard work getting the venue ready for the season.

"Getting a venue like this just opened after sitting all winter long. Is a lot of work from do you in de-wintering everything. We did bring in the sound and lights this week, but it takes about 4 to 5 days just to power wash." Bradshaw explained.

Bradshaw said that although this season will have 6 shows less than last year's, it is to compensate for the big players their bringing in 2025.

"Nothing like starting off, you know, with Bret Michaels. And then we have, Alex Miller, who was on American Idol. We have The Fray, Morris Day and The Time. You cannot pick four different artists in one weekend." he said. "We've we've tried to hit every genre, from rock to country to hip hop. I mean, we have Lil John coming to Decatur. It's going to be a pretty big deal."

The Devon is also partnering with Del Carmen's Pizza to offer new food options. They are also adding a non-alcoholic bar called Lakeshore Fizz. 

Tickets are still available for nearly all shows this season. However, if you plan on attending, make sure to buy your tickets through The Devon's website to avoid scams.
