BUFFALO, Ill. (WAND) - The Tri-City School District has said that a small number of students are having allergic reactions during the school day, but have no idea what is causing them.Â
Tri-City schools confirmed to WAND News that the district, "out of an abundance of caution," sent out an email to parents, which stated that a few students had reactions ranging from hives to potential anaphylaxis.Â
The district stated that it is working with the Sangamon County Health Department and the Illinois Department of Public Health to address the problem.
