DEWITT COUNTY, Ill. (WAND) - Two people are dead after a crash along Route 54 West, near Kenney. 

The Dewitt County Coroner says two vehicles were traveling around Route 54 and Spirit Road around 1 AM Monday morning when the crash happened. 

Both drivers of the vehicles were pronounced dead on scene. 

Autopsies are scheduled for a later time. The Dewitt County Coroner, Dewitt County Sheriff's Office and Illinois State Police are investigating the crash.Â
