War protestors rally on the University of Illinois campus just hours before President Obama is expected to announce his decision to send 30,000 more U.S. Soldiers to Afghanistan in the next 6 months.
The group protesting is made up of Iraq Veterans against the war, the campus anti-war network, and the International Socialist Organization.
Protestors say sending more troops to Afghanistan will not fix the country's problems.
It will only result in more death and destruction.
The President is also expected to outline his plan to end the war within 3 years.
The group protesting wants to see all U.S. troops pulled out of Afghanistan and for the U.S. to focus on political solutions.
However, one Veteran says pulling out all troops may be harder than most people realize.
