CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – The Big Ten has announced the home/away designations for the 2026 Big Ten volleyball regular season, the conference office announced on Monday.
Illinois will host nine Big Ten home matches while playing eight conference contests on the road, as the Big Ten has shifted to a 17-match conference regular-season schedule due to the addition of the inaugural Big Ten Volleyball Tournament in November.
The Illini will host six conference teams that advanced to the 2025 NCAA Tournament, including a Final Four team in Wisconsin.
The Orange and Blue will face three NCAA Tournament teams on the road in conference play, including a Sweet 16 team in Indiana and two Elite Eight squads in Nebraska and Purdue.
The 2026 schedule is set to be flipped next season, with the Illini slated to play eight home matches and nine road contests in Big Ten play in 2027.
