CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) -- Illinois football officially announced their new defensive coordinator last week and Thursday they officially introduced Bobby Hauck.
Hauck is taking over the play calls for the Illini's defense this fall replacing Aaron Henry.
He was the former head coach at Montana and retired earlier this month after not enjoying being a head coach anymore.
He said coming to Illinois was a chance he couldn't pass up and wanted to get back to his roots which coaching players not running a program.
