DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) -- The Illinois Thundercats football team is coming off of a season where they were crowned Mid-American 8-Man League Champs.
The squad is currently ranked second in the country but the bond the players and coaches share goes beyond the football field.
The Thundercats have players from Iowa, St. Louis, Chicago, Champaign and Springfield.
