LINCOLN, Ill. (WAND) - Kloe Froebe is delivering on and off the court.
Specifically, by delivering a big check.
The Lincoln basketball star was named the Illinois Gatorade Player of the Year. Because of that, she had the opportunity to donate $1000 to the charity of her choice. She chose the Lincoln Area YMCA
“The YMCA is where I had my first experience playing organized basketball and I’ll never forget the excited feeling of being a part of a team." said Froebe "My hope is for the Lincoln YMCA to continue to provide, and hopefully grow these wonderful opportunities for our local youth.”
The money donated will go directly to the YMCA Strong Kids Fund which supports children and families by providing financial assistance, program subsidies, and community outreach.
