CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - Illinois quarterback Luke Altymer has been cleared from injury, Bret Bielema told Sirius XM Big Ten Radio on Wednesday.

Matt Schick tweeted that Coach B mentioned that Luke Altmyer would start against No. 16 Iowa. But, Bielema is scheduled to meet with the media on Thursday so he will likely be asked about who is starting under center.
John paddock started in place of Altmyer last Saturday against Indiana. Paddock was named Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week after throwing for 507 yards in the 45-42 overtime win.
