(CHAMPAIGN)-- Illinois Sophomore Malcolm Hill has been named the Big Ten Co-Player of the week for the first time in his career. Hill scored a game-high 27 points, including the game-winning field goal against Penn State Saturday. Hill is averaging 17.9 points per game over the last seven games, and ranks fifth in the Big Ten in scoring at 16.9 points per game. Hill is the first Illinois player to be named Player of the Week since Rayvonte Rice on December 30th 2013.
