DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Several more hot and humid days are forecast before we finally see some relief from the heat wave.
As of now, a "Heat Advisory" remains in effect for many of us until 7 p.m. Thursday. However, indications are that it may be extended into Friday.

Isolated showers and storms are possible today with highs once again in the mid-90s, but it'll feel like 100°-105°.
Showers and storms are more likely Friday afternoon into Saturday with highs around 90° or in the low-90s.
Sunday will be another hot day with isolated showers and storms. Â
A strong cold front may bring severe storms Monday. It'll also usher in more seasonal air and less humidity. Highs next Tuesday and Wednesday will be back in the 80s with lows in the 60s.
