URBANA, Ill. (WAND) — The Champaign County Sheriff's Office is teaming up with the Eastern Illinois Foodbank to collect food for families in need this holiday season.
From Monday, November 10 to Friday, November 21, non-perishable food items will be collected at two locations in Urbana.
The drive is part of a Giving Tuesday competition among police departments across the country to see which local departments can raise the most meals.
Donations can be dropped off at the Bennett Administration Building or the Champaign County Courthouse.
