CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - The Christie Clinic Illinois Race Weekend is around the corner.

The race will be held April 23-25 on the streets of Champaign, Urbana, and Savoy. 

Participants at the 17th annual race will partake in either a marathon, half marathon, 10K, 5K, mile, youth run, or eight multi-event challenges. 

New I-Challenges this year include the Micro I-Challenge, combining the Michael Hogue Team Mile and the Busey Bank Illinois Youth Run. 

Over the years, the race weekend has been able to donate $1.958 million to charities in the community and and has generated an estimated $5 million in economic impact annually. 

The race weekend schedule is as follows: 

  • April 23 
    • Health & Fitness Expo - 4-8 p.m. 
    • The Michael Hogue Team Mile start time - 7:30 p.m. 
    • First Michael Hogue Team Mile finisher expected - 7:34 p.m. 
  • April 24 
    • Health & Fitness Expo - 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. 
    • 4th Mile Street Fest - 6-10 p.m. 
    • 5K start time - 7:30 p.m. 
    • First 5K finisher expected - 7:45 p.m. 
  • April 25 
    • Wheelchair half marathon start time - 7:31 a.m. 
    • Marathon and half marathon start time - 7:33 a.m. 
    • 10K start time - 8 a.m. 
    • First half marathon wheelchair finisher expected - 8:17 a.m.
    • First 10K finisher expected - 8:28 a.m. 
    • First half marathon finisher expected - 8:35 a.m. 
    • First marathon finisher expected - 9:49 a.m. 
    • Busey Bank Youth Run start time - 3 p.m. 
    • 27th Mile Celebrate Victory Bash - 8:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

The Health & Fitness Expo will be at the Activities and Recreation Center at 201 E Peabody Dr. 

The Michael Hogue Team Mile Start Line will be on First Street, adjacent to Grange Grove. 

The 5K Start Line will be on Oak, south of St. Mary's Road. 

The Marathon, Half Marathon, and 10K Start Lines will be at First St. and St. Mary's Rd. 

The 4th Mile Street Fest and 27th-Mile Celebrate Victory Bash will be outside Memorial Stadium on Kirby Ave. 

The Finish Line and Busey Bank Youth Run will be at Memorial Stadium at 1402 S 1st. St.
