DANVILLE, Ill. (WAND) — The Festival of Trees in Danville unveiled its special event lineup, with tickets going on sale next week.
The festival runs from November 15-19 at the David S. Palmer Arena, transforming the venue into a "holiday wonderland." There is also a lineup of special events throughout the festival.
Tickets for the festival and special events will be available for purchase on Tuesday, October 14 at 10 a.m. They can be bought in person at the David S. Palmer Arena box office or online on the festival's website.
Organizers said the events usually sell out quickly, so early purchase is "strongly encouraged." All proceeds will benefit youth programs in Vermilion County.
This year's special events lineup includes:
Bourbon, Bubbles & Brew
A 21+ event featuring craft cocktails, music and live auctions.
When: Thursday, November 13 from 6-9 p.m.
Prehistoric Pit Stop with Santa
A dinosaur adventure meant for kids with crafts, treats and a visit from Santa.
When: Saturday, November 15 from 9-10:30 a.m.
Glow Ho, Ho Adult Bingo
Glow-in-the-dark bingo night featuring prizes.
When: Saturday, November 15 from 6:30-9 p.m.
Princess Tea Party
Morning featuring princesses, tea, and treats.
When: Sunday, November 16 from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.
Neon North Pole Family Bingo
Family-friendly bingo with "glowing surprises" and giveaways.
When: Sunday, November 16 from 5-7 p.m.
Ladies Luncheon
A midday celebration with lunch, raffles, live auctions and seasonal shopping.
When: Monday, November 17 from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.
