SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - Three people are dead following a shooting at a home Thursday afternoon in Springfield. 

According to a Sangamon County spokesperson, Sangamon County Sheriff's Deputies were called just after 2:30 p.m. to a home in the 3000 block of Hoover Avenue for a report of a shooting inside the home. 

Deputies arrived and found three people dead inside the home. 

The investigation is still ongoing. WAND is working to learn more.
