SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - The Capitol City is set for a summer weekend full of food and community.
FoodeesFest will take place from 1-9 p.m. Friday, June 19, from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. Saturday, June 20, and from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Sunday, June 21, at White Oaks Mall in Springfield.
FoodeesFest said the event will feature over 40 gourmet food trucks and vendors, with options including barbecue, street tacos, dessert, drinks and more.
Additionally, there will be artisan and craft vendors on-site to sell handmade items like artwork, jewelry and other specialty goods.
According to FoodeesFest's website, it is a touring food and culture festival that highlights local flavor and small business vendors at each stop.
