PARIS, Ill. (WAND) -  Remote Area Medical (RAM®) is offering a free, comprehensive dental, vision, and medical clinic at Paris High School this weekend.

Paris High School is located at 14040 E 1200th Road, Paris. The event will be held June 28-29.

The clinic will provide dental, vision, and medical care to those who might otherwise have to go without these services. No insurance or ID is required.

Clinic coordinator at RAM, Hailey Vittetoe, said their mission is to provide care to anyone who needs it.

"There's a need everywhere we go, " she said. "You get stories of patients who don't have access to preventative care. So now we're following up with problems that could have been prevented years ago. And it's either lack of insurance, lack of payment or just no access, anywhere near them."

RAM’s clinics offer free dental cleanings, dental fillings, dental extractions, dental X-rays, eye exams, eye health exams, eyeglass prescriptions, eyeglasses made on-site, women's health exams, and general medical exams.

Sean Mixson, the Community Host Chair at RAM, volunteers and the doctors who volunteered did it to help communities across the state.

"We're not doing this for accolades. We're doing it because we care. And so if you're apprehensive about coming, don't be because we do care about you  before we even see you," Mixson said.

The parking lot will open no later than 11:59 p.m. on Friday night, June 27 and remain open for the duration of the clinic. Once in the parking lot, patients will receive additional information regarding clinic processes and next steps.

Clinic doors open at 6 a.m., and services are offered on a first-come, first-served basis. The clinic closes when capacity is reached.

Sunday’s clinic operations will be an abbreviated day, so patients are advised to arrive as early as possible.

Patients who want continued care should stay up-to-date with RAM's schedule, which can be found on their website.
