MONTICELLO, Ill. (WAND) — A vendor market in Piatt County is working to raise money for a local hospital.
The Market on the Prairie in Monticello will feature 55 artisan vendors selling various products, from jewelry and clothing to glasswork and art.Â
Kathy Keith, the co-chair of the event, said the purpose is to raise funds to support any extra equipment needs that Kirby Medical Center may not include in its budget.
The market will be on August 22 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the KMC Active gym across the street from Kirby Medical Center.
