Moonwalk into competition at Lincoln Square Theater 's 'Dance Like MJ'

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Hee hee! A chance to show your moves at the Lincoln Square Theater.

A "Dance Like MJ" contest for kids ages two through seventeen will take place at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 21.

Kids will compete for the top spot to see who can pull off the King of Pop's best moves, with the top three dancers in each group advancing to online voting.

The winner will perform at the theater's upcoming Michael Jackson tribute show as the opener.

"KC Finds has been one of our great sponsors for events at the theater. And when they came up with this idea for this dance-a-thon. We thought this would be great because it's a way for us to get involved and help support things in the community and the youth and things like that, because that's what the theater's about, it's about bringing family together," said Lincoln Square Theater Vice President Mark Scranton.

Registration is $5, and sign-up is due by Feb. 17.
