DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - A new foundry held a ribbon-cutting this week in Decatur.
The new Mueller Water Products foundry officially opened Thursday.
It replaces the existing foundry on East Garfield Street, which was over 100 years old.
The facility will help produce things like valves and hydrants used across the country, and is also said to be the biggest brass foundry of its kind in the country.
