DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The former mansion of Illinois Governor Richard Oglesby in Decatur will host an open house this weekend, featuring new artifacts on display.Â
The open house will take place from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 26, according to the Macon County Conservation District.Â
The museum recently received a donation of two original Oglesby artifacts—an original Oglesby top hat and Mrs. Emma Oglesby's steamer trunk with a tag and original key.
Cost is $5 for adults and $2 for children.Â
