CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WAND) - A public meeting will be held to discuss replacing the Millage Park's playground in Champaign.Â
The Champaign Park District is inviting people to come Thursday, Sept. 11 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Jupiter's at the Crossing, 2511 Village Green Pl.Â
You will be able to give feedback on proposed playground equipment present by Cunningham Recreation. Families are encouraged to bring their children along to participate as well.Â
The playground redesign at Millage Park will focus on updating and modernizing outdated equipment. The project is projected to be done by Spring of 2026.Â
Millage Park is located at 2802 Cherry Creek Rd. It was obtained by the Champaign Park District in 1991.Â
