SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - One of the fastest-growing car shows in Central Illinois returns to Springfield this weekend. Â
The third annual Wings & Wheels Fly-In & Car Show will happen from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 4, at the Abraham Lincoln Capital Airport.Â
The show posted on Facebook that the event will feature various cars and aircraft for attendees to view up close, along with a scheduled military flyover.
The local chapter of the Experimental Aircraft Association will serve burgers and other side items for $15 per plate.Â
Food and access to the aircraft ramp will not start until 11 a.m.
