'White Christmas' screening to bring early holiday cheer to Decatur seniors, caregivers

DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - Seniors and their caregivers who typically have a difficult time enjoying a trip to the movie theater will be in luck this holiday season.

Dementia Friendly Decatur will host a senior-friendly screening of "White Christmas" at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 3, at the Lincoln Square Theater.

CHELP stated that the theater will be well-lit with wide aisles, allowing easier movement for patrons. Doors will open at 1 p.m., and concessions will be available to all attendees.

Additional activities will include an appearance from Santa, a photo booth and dogs from Pawprint Ministries.
