URBANA – Clark-Lindsey, the only Life Plan Community in East Central Illinois, will be unveiling an interactive sculpture on Friday, June 10 at 6 PM.
The “As I Age” Wall is a temporary sculpture that is geared toward engaging the community in an honest conversation about the good, the bad, the funny and the ugly parts of aging. This wall will be public and provides community members the opportunity to participate in reflecting on aging.
Urbana residents and visitors of all ages are invited to write on the wall with what they will do as they age. The wall is meant to be inclusive, and anyone can participate.
Clark-Lindsey will host the “As I Age” Wall at its facility, located at 101 West Windsor Road in Urbana.
The installation sculpture was made possible by a grant from the Urbana Public Arts Program.
The Urbana Public Arts Program and Commission was established by the City Council in April 2008 and works to engage the community with the arts and artists.
