DECATUR, Ill. (WAND) - The Decatur Fire Department was called out for a house fire Thursday night. 

Firefighters responded to the 500 block of W. Grand Ave. for a house fire at 7 p.m. 

Heavy smoke and fire was showing from the house. Crews searched the house and found there was no one inside and brought the fire under control. 

The cause is under investigation.
