SPRINGFIELD, Ill. (WAND) - One person was hospitalized following a shooting in Springfield Sunday night.
The Springfield Police Department said that officers responded to a Shot Spotter alert for multiple shots fired around 6 p.m. in the 700 block of S Livingston Street Aug. 24.Â
Officers on the scene found someone with a "critical" gunshot wound, and they remain hospitalized.Â
