TAYLORVILLE, Ill. (WAND) - A Taylorville man has been arrested following a home invasion over the weekend.
The Taylorville Police Department said that officers responded to a reported stabbing on Sunday.
Taylorville police stated that they quickly caught the suspect, later identified as Jacob Gray of Taylorville, as the victim was moved to a trauma center for treatment.
No information is available on the victim's condition at this time.
Gray was arrested for home invasion and aggravated domestic battery.
Taylorville police added that Gray had a detention hearing under the Safety Act and was ordered detained after being deemed a threat to the public.
